This policy covers technest.flyingvlabs.io, run by Flying V TechNest (Toronto, Canada · Mutěnice, Czech Republic). If you have a question about it, email info@flyingvlabs.io.
What you give us
When you use a form or tool on this site, we receive what you enter:
- Your details: name, work email and, if you choose, your company, role and phone.
- What you tell us: booking and enquiry messages, the process you describe in the opportunity finder, your answers to the readiness check, health check and ceremony audit, the context you give for a retro plan, and your questions to the Ask TechNest assistant.
- Documents you upload to the Penny² demo: read once, in memory, to show you the result. We don't store the file. We keep a short summary of what was read (document type, supplier, totals) with your enquiry.
Please don't include anyone else's personal information, or documents you aren't allowed to share.
What we collect automatically
- Site analytics: the pages you visit, clicks, how far you scroll, time on page, the site that referred you and your browser type. To count visits, we use a short code made from browser details (not your name, and not stored in a cookie) and a session ID kept in your browser's session storage for that tab. We don't use advertising cookies or third-party ad trackers.
- Abuse prevention for our AI tools: each use is logged with a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address and, where you gave one, your email, plus the size and cost of the request. We can't read the original IP address or email from these logs. They let us limit how often the tools can be used.
- Bot protection: Vercel BotID runs a check in your browser when you use an AI tool, to tell people from automated scripts.
- The Ask TechNest chat keeps your conversation in your browser's session storage so it survives moving between pages. It's cleared when you close the tab.
How we use it
- To give you what you asked for: your report, plan, results or answer, on screen and by email.
- To reply to you and follow up about your enquiry. You can tell us to stop at any time by replying to any email or writing to info@flyingvlabs.io.
- To understand which pages and tools are useful, and to improve them.
- To keep the site and its tools safe from abuse.
We don't sell your information, and we don't share it for advertising.
Who helps us process it
- Anthropic (Claude) processes the text and documents you submit to our AI tools to produce your result. Under its commercial terms it doesn't use this data to train its models; it may keep it for a short period under its own policies for safety and abuse monitoring.
- Vercel hosts the site and runs bot protection.
- Supabase stores enquiries, leads, site analytics and the AI usage logs.
- Our email provider sends the emails you ask for and our replies.
These providers may process data in Canada, the United States or the European Union.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries and leads for as long as they're useful to our relationship with you, and delete them when you ask. Uploaded Penny² demo documents aren't stored. Analytics and AI usage logs don't contain your name or raw IP address.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop contacting you. Email info@flyingvlabs.ioand we'll respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live, privacy laws such as Canada's PIPEDA and the EU's GDPR may give you further rights, including complaining to your local privacy regulator.
Clients using our stakeholder portal
If we've invited you to our stakeholder portal, we store your name, email, and the comments, rankings and suggestions you leave there, to run the project with you.
Children
This site is for businesses and isn't directed at anyone under 16.
